I have ceased usage of my previous diary, due to privacy reasons. I still need somewhere to vent, and I love SitD so much, that I had to create a new space for myself. I will probably never include my name or specific details, for privacy's sake. But I will spare you nothing else. You'll know all the sordid details of my not-so-boring life, like it or not. ;) I returned yesterday from a conference for work. Saturday night, 2 of my coworkers and I went bar-hopping. At the last place we went to, I was walking back from the restroom when a good-looking guy stops me and says "You're not leaving already, are you?" I said no, that I was going to the patio to check on my girls. He asked me to dance, but I said that I would be right back. He said "Sure you will, I can take a hint". I promise I would be right back, and I was. After dancing for awhile, I said I needed to go outside again, and he followed me. The 2 other girls were outside talking to a bunch of guys, who happened to be Ken's friends. So all of us hung out all night. Ken's 31, a medic in the Army, and absolutely wonderful. Bad things: He's legally separated, has 2 kids, and is stationed in North Carolina. I'm in Texas. Anyway, we hit it off, and he called me today. We're going to continue to talk, I hope. Our personalities seem to fit well, which is refreshing, considering my last relationship failed due to personality differences. We'll see if we can continue to be friends.
