I can't wait! My baby has 1-1/2 shifts left, then he'll be home! I hope....as long as the weather's pretty, with no fog or rain, he'll be able to fly in. He already has plans for most of his time in. Next weekend, we may be going to Huntsville to meet people, and there's a Roger Creager show he wants to go to. The following weekend, there are 2 Creager shows at Gruene hall. I'm so excited! I love Creager, and I've always wanted to go to Gruene Hall. He's going to make a big roadtrip out of it, he's going to ask his roomies to go. It should be fun. I'm just looking forward to spending hours on end with him. I hope he can put up with me that long! ;)
Gerd's turned me into a mushy little girl again, it's funny. I've been writing again lately, sweet stuff. It's all really rough, needs work. If anyone out there has constructive criticism, fire away.
Like a dream come true/you popped into my world/turned it all around/set my head awhirl./The perfect image from my fantasy/I never thought I'd see/But here I sit and look at you/You smile back at me./Too good to be true/is what you are/An answer to a prayer/a wish on a star/ Everything I've wanted/and thought I'd never find/Now wherever you may go/My heart's not far behind.
Here's the one I wrote today:
I find in your eyes
what I've been searching for
I thought I had it in the past
But you give me so much more.
When you hold me in your arms
Suddenly everything's aligned
You fulfill the desires
of my body, heart, and mind.
I long for the day
I awake and see your face
Knowing that I spent all night
In your loving embrace.
Though our journey's just beginning
I hope it never ends
You're all that I need
My love, my best friend.
P.S. Ask brainscratch who I am; you and I know each other :)
