There's so many things I've been meaning to write about but either haven't gotten to it or completely forgotten. This entry's probably gonna be very random, be prepared for confusion.
My class is infested. With Lice. That's right, creepy, crawly head-buggies. Yuck. We've RID-ed everything, cloroxed everything, triple-washed everything. I check the kids' heads at least 5 times a day now, they're getting sick of it. All the staff memebers now are constantly itchy, I make Momma check my head every chance she gets. Yuck.
I got a letter from Iraq Wednesday. My buddy will be home early next month. I've known Kirk for 4 years now, we're very close. Before he left for basic training, we were almost never apart, best buddies. We acted as one another's crutch because we were both going through relationship issues...we really relied on one another. Well, things got better for Kirk, he got back with his ex before he got deployed. She cheated on him and now he's back where he started. My heart goes out to him, he's such a sweet guy that he gets taken advantage of...Anyway, he's coming home! It'll be nice to have my buddy back. He said he sent me a letter about a month ago, but it never made it to me. This one (the one that made it here) had pictures!
his favorite part of the day, watching the sunset.
The back of this picture says "I look puffy!"
When he was in Rome. He's so much skinnier now. What happened to the chipmunk cheeks?!
I can't exhale just yet, I won't feel relieved until I see him face to face.
My little brother won't admit it, but he's getting nervous about starting college. He's tried to contact the football coaches to find out when tryouts are, but he's not having much luck. I'm not sure how I feel about him playing college ball. I'm excited because he's wanted this forever, but I'm scared because it's so rough. And Tech is such a big school, so competitive. I know he'll make it, no problem, but I don't know if he'll play much, and I think that'll break his heart. He's been busting his butt, sticking to a strict workout routine and watching what he eats. He saw one of his old football buddies the other night, and the guy couldn't believe how much bigger Jake's gotten since May. I'm proud of him.
Wow, this was all over the place. I'm sure I've left alot out, I'll be back later!
Hang in there...
:-) Thanks again....
