Jake's song was very well-received. Lots of people cried. Jake was so proud, he grinned from ear to ear all night. The speeches given by the pastors were excellent, it was a nice service. After it let out, everyone stood outside and took pictures, then the family and a bunch of Jake's friends came to our house. Uncle Matt brought his guitar, Jake's buddy Mike brought his in, and they all jammed out. The ladies sat around the kitchen table and ate and talked, the guys jammed in the living room, and I bounced back and forth. Friday's graduation, that's gonna be insane. People everywhere. The weekend after that I'm having a graduation party for Jake at the park, he's invited 50 people!!! goodness gracious! (I'm hoping if my buddy Gerd doesn't have to work he can come help keep me sane ;) )
It's way past my bedtime, I'm gonna hit the hay!
I'm SO proud of Jake. Tell him I said 'Hi.'
