Quick Update

Just a quick update because I have access to a computer for a few minutes. I FINALLY got in to see a doctor and everything went fine. She says everything seems normal and healthy and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was weird. I have my next appointment on the 28th this month and they're gonna do an ultrasound. I'm feeling much better now but I'm still pretty nervous. And before anyone asks, YES, I am going to try to find out what gender teh baby is. it will make shopping for it MUCH easier. Besides, I hate yellow.... Anyway, I am moving out relatively soon. Relatively. Whenever my parents manage to get the basement clean enough to move back down there they're going to give me my old room. It might take some time but there's already been some progress made so hopefully I'll be back here before October is over. I am in the process of looking for a job, but its extremely difficult to find one that will be practical once I have the baby, or even one thats practical now. I'm not showing yet but I am in my second trimester and standing too long makes me want to pass out. Anyway, I'm hoping I'll find SOMETHING so I can try to get my own place. Doubtful, but I would rather have a baby in a house with only me and my cats than in a house with 9 cats and 4 other people. In any case things are moving, even if I'm not sure WHERE or how fast. I'm in Dracula again and its nice to have something to occupy my time and a chunk of my mind. I'm also getting out of the house more, which is good. Goat and I aren't fighting as much, mostly just snapping at eachother occasionally, and I think things will get better when we aren't seeing as much of eachother. We still both want things to eventually work out, but taking time for ourselves really seems like the best thing right now. Anyway, I have to go register my car and I'm probably going to apply for WIC and maybe food stamps, so I have to get moving. I'll try to write again soon. Thanks everyone for your support. :) I really miss you guys.

Talked to D and Tess, They're making a baby blanket for you. They said that the care about you and worry about you and the baby and if you need anything or anyone to talk to to give them a call. You know... green is a nice gender neutral color too... ;) Take care ~Michele
