This morning I went to my college success class interview, basically he just skimmed the paper that I turned in and asked me what I would do to improve the class. Heh, my mind blanked. There's a lot of stuff that we covered that were pretty cool. We went over the MBTI in class. Talked about conflict resolution, which is what I took a way from the class, since it helps me out a lot. Now I know to ask for time so that I can get my thoughts in order and get of the shock of "I'm actually in a fight?!"
I also practiced with my theater partner today. That was good. I think that we are ahead of the curve and will be able to make it be a very good performance once we finally do it in front of everyone.
Institute has to be my favorite class. Today we watched a video which talked about how this guy with a PhD mapped sites in the Book of Mormon to places in Meso America. It was pretty cool, he had this whole system that he would use in order to determine whether the place worked as a Book of Mormon site or not. There were four things that I place had to meet in order for it to work. It was pretty cool, Meso America, the are around Guatemala, has the thin strip of land and the mountains that run from the east to the west and 'touch' both oceans. There's even a sunken city! There's also a sunken city in the Book of Mormon, it was sunk when Christ was crucified during the 3 days of darkness that followed. Anyway, I just thought that was cool. Religion seems to be becoming a bigger part of my life as I get older. Meh, if I ever end up in a nursing home I’m sure all be the type who just randomly starts singing church hymns.
