i took a shower at midnight. i curled into a ball in the bath and watched the water trickle down the side of the wall. I was thinking how pretty it looked, with the light reflected on it. then i thought of how many people had drowned in water, gasping for air, and i wondered how soemthign this beautiful could be so cruel. but it's like everything. It's only cruel if people abuse it. if they will push people under it and drown them, or if they will be careless in it, so they slip or choke and drown that way, then the water has no choice but to be cruel. Even if it is an accident, the water is still being cruel because that is what it was meant to do. (i dont mean as in fate, i mean if it just parted and left the drowning person alone, it wouldnt be water, would it?) Then i stopped looking at the water, and looked at the side of the bath. It took me a while, it was like one of those magic eye pictures, if you stare at it long enough, it allbecomes clear to you. there was water everywhere. it was om the shelf, and dripping down the side of the bath, and spreading across the floor. so i turned the shower off, and came online.
