allegories

in literature, the weather is usually an allegory for the tone of the piece, or some bit of drama that's unfolding. it sets the mood, and in some cases, defines it. it's been raining a lot lately. very sporadic stuff... it'll be sunny and bright one moment, and then pouring rain the next. sometimes, it'll rain, but the sun will still be shining. or, it's raining where you are, but if you just moved fifty feet, you'd be back in the sunshine. kooky weather. sometimes things are kooky. sometimes things are like that. like lumpy cream of wheat. it's all good, until you get one of those chunks, and then you want to vomit. the cream of wheat's been pretty lumpy lately, but the non-lumpiness has been glorious.

I do love allegories. They intrigue me much.

Have a great day.
