i woke up at 4:30 this afternoon. took a shower, got ready, and hopped in my car to go meet gen for her birthday dinner at 6. it was kind of sprinkly out, so my windshield was dappled with little droplets. i let them accumulate, 'cause otherwise the wipers wouldn't have been too effective. the lights of the other cars made them light up, white and red. when i got to the light that made the droplets yellow and then red and then green, i switched them on, and my windshield was all blurry. and i had bright eyes blasting, and night was just falling, and the little droplets, and the lights from all the cars, and i'd only been up a few hours, and driving, and it was all so strange for some reason. i don't know how to describe it really, it was a very weird feeling. the world is a strange and beautiful place. i don't feel like me tonight.
