I have learned some things from a few days of thinking and being........well.......happy! When you judge people, you judge by what you see and the feelings you have around people. A lot of people tell me, "You are making a mistake! So many people have been hurt! Don't get hurt! Stay away!!!!" I just want to make one thing clear. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!!!!!!!!! SO DON'T WORRY!!!!!!!! If I want to do something and learn something for myself, LET ME DO IT!! You can give your opinions and everything! That is perfectly fine and much appreciated, but really! It's ok! I will learn and grow! That's how life is! Let me learn! Why is it that when you are so happy, people try to take it all away..... :,( I haven't been really happy in so long, please, everyone, just let me be happy and let me learn. Please, just let me go. By: Britney Francis I bowed my head and began to cry Letting go of my thoughts through a sigh And thinking to myself, "Can this be true?" "Have I really been that close to you?" I shook my head as a tear fell down Pondering on the thoughts that I had found As a man sat beside me, he looked and said "Tell me daughter, what thoughts are in your head?" I did not dare to look at the face So I left my head down in the same old place "How could I not have know" I began "That all this time he had held my hand" "And how could it be that I have not had These thoughts when I needed them so bad?" "Why now do I feel peace so dear? And why before, the spirit I did not hear?" The man who sat there, not one word he said Let me speak and also bowed his head "So why are you so sad and feeling down When it is simple that it is the Lord you have found?" With a sudden sigh my voice did shake "Why am I the one to have feelings so great?" "Why is it that I have felt it all When others in the world have felt nothing at all?" "Why am I so special as to feel Something I want others to know is real?" The man smiled and hugged me tight And he said with a sob, "Because it is right." "It is right for you to feel these things For with your knowledge God will give you wings." "You will find in your life that you will share The spirit that is with you and everywhere!" "Later you will find that all you want to do Will all start with one simple person, you." The tears came strong as I began to say "Thank you for sitting with me today." The man kissed my head and murmured so clear "Oh my daughter, I have always been here." For the first time I looked at the mans tender face And as I did my heart began to race For the man who sat so close to me Was the savior himself, he I did see And as soon as I looked upon him there His appearance vanished into thin air And while he was gone I heard him say "Just remember, you know your way." I sat there in awe with my tears more clear As long as I live, my savior will always be here.
