Today was probably the best day of the week! School was fun and pretty much ok for the most part! After school, like always, was so much better! I decided to stay after school so that I could just go to the game and I also didn't have a car to go back to school. So I stayed after and I was with Landon, of course, and we went out to his car to park it on the field. Wow! It was a beautiful sunny day! Anyway, we saw Peter and Jenny talking so we went over to them and I sat next to peter and talked. Then I laid down and almost fell asleep cause the sun made me lethargic. So I almost fell asleep, then Landon came to me and started to tickle me. Then he laid next to me while listening to his new MP3 I helped him get yesterday. Peter and Jenny left at this time. Then Landon gave me one of his headphones and he was playing the James and the Giant Peach book on tape! I was excited! We laughed and made fun of the voice. Then I realized that the sun was in his face, so I moved in front of him and blocked the sun from his face. I don't think he minded at all because he just kept staring at me and smiling like he was looking at something out of this world! I love it when he looks at me like that! So he changed it to some music and we just laid there and sang to each other while I played with his hair and touched his face! *Sigh* He did the same. Then we started to laugh about tons of different things and it was just so perfect! With the music in our ears and the sun so perfect and Landon by my side. My best friend. And everything was just perfect! Life was perfect! We were perfect! Then we decided to go see Peter, Stu, Jason, Morgan and Megan. We all played around and laughed like usual! Then Landon had to go home to change for the pep band performance and he wanted me to go with him, so I did. When we got there he told his mom I was there, then his mom and him got in a fight! I didn't like seeing Landon mad. It made me sad. Then I went downstairs and sat on his chair while he went to his room and changed. Then he came out, obviously not happy at all, and sat on the arm of his couch. He said, "I didn't want that to happen." And he just looked so sad!!! So I got up and sat next to him and just hugged him and scratched his back. Then I took his chin in my hands and just looked into his eyes and smiled in a sympathetic way. Then he smiled and looked down again. Then I tapped his leg and I said, "Look, my socks have penguins on them." Then I showed him my sock and he laughed. Which is what I was hoping for. Then he said that we needed to get back to the school. I hugged him again and then we left. When we got to the school I sat in the band room and watched them practice. Then I saw Jason and we hung out while they practiced. Then we went up to the game and I had to help Jake Whittle take some of his drumming stuff up, which was basically my ticket in because I can't find my lunch card ANYWHERE!!! So I sat up with the band and just hung out with the tubas! I love those guys with a passion! Then Jerry McMacken, oh Jerry you're a hoot, pretended to be drunk and Landon and I were dying of laughter!!!! It was Hi-lariouse! Then Landon and I listened to his MP3 and every once in a while he had to go play his tuba so I was just listening to it. I was up at the top and I turned around towards the sun and I was looking at the field where a few little kids, not much older than 7, were playing football. I was smiling and daydreaming, like always, when I felt arms around the middle of my stomach and I turned my head around and it was Landon. He was giving me that look that I love and he told me quietly, "You look so pretty in the sun." I smiled and said, "Thank you." Then I kissed him and we just sat there and looked out at the sunset for a long time. We both had the headphones back in and he was REALLY cold! And I had his sweatshirt on that I love so much because it smells like him! So I turned toward him and opened my jacket and he rapped his arms around me and I rapped him in it! It was warm! And we would laugh at things and just joke around like we've been friends forever! I'm so comfortable with him! So we sang and laughed and talked. Then I sat on his lap and I put on the jacket backwards so he could still be in it with me. Then I kissed his cheek and he laughed because he thought of something. Whenever he thinks of sneaky things to do, usually involving a new way to tickle me, he laughs a little. Then he kissed my cheek and started to gnaw on my lower jaw and it tickled like crazy! But a good tickle that gave me butterflies! Hehe! I actually liked it a lot! Then I did it to him and we laughed A LOT again!!! When the game was over we walked to the band room and they were putting away things for the competition tomorrow. I just sat there and talked to Jenny and Michele. Then later on Landon started to tickle me and we eventually ended up on the floor and I was laughing differently ever single time he tickled me and I couldn't help it! Landon thought it was hi-lariouse and he just broke down, almost in tears, laughing! This went on for QUITE some time! Ok, I have TMJ where the cartilage in my jaw isn't set up right and it randomly gets stuck and I have to pop it and it's LOUD! I've been so used to it and when Landon was tickling me my jaw got tight like I needed to pop it. So I stopped him and said, "Just one minute. I need to pop my jaw." And when I pop it I just have to open up my mouth until I hear this loud POP. But this time I opened my mouth fast and instead of a pop I heard and CRANK and a RIP! I gasped and almost started crying! It hurt! And Landon quickly rapped me up in his arms and just held me! I was hyperventilating and freaking out! I was breathing really heavy and almost crying! Landon continued to hold me and kiss my head and scratch my back and whispering, "I'm sorry." And I said out of breath and in pain, "It's not your fault." And he whispered, "I know it's not, but I'm still sorry." And I started saying, "I can't have this happen! I can't go to the hospital later on because my mom can't afford it!" And that's when the urge to cry was the strongest. Then he said, "I'll help you out! Anything you need I'll do it! I'll give you money! I don't care! I just want you to be ok!" And I said, "No, it's ok! I'll be fine. Really." And he whispered again, "I'm sorry." Then we had to go, so we sat up and walked to Peter's car. And he was holding my hand and looking at me sympathetically and kept saying, "I know it's not my fault, but I'm sorry." Then Peter said that he could take me home because he was heading that way anyway. So I was standing by Peter's car and ready to get in and Landon kissed me goodbye, a really nice one by the way. Then he said, "I am always here for you Britney! Always!" And I knew that he meant it with all he had! I smiled and kissed him again, then got in the car. Before that happened to my jaw, I could feel on that side that pops that some of the muscle wasn't there unlike the other part of my jaw. And ever since that thing happened tonight, I've noticed that the lack of muscle on the left side of my jaw is even worse! It's like a giant gap in my jaw. I don't like it! Anyway, that's my LONG LONG LOOOOONG story!!!! But even with that thing happening to my jaw and stuff, it was still a perfect day!!! I told Landon at the game that he was my best friend and an amazing boyfriend! I said, "I don't think I've told you that before other than the boyfriend thing." He smiled and said, "Yeah, I don't think I've heard that yet." He really is! He has always been there for me and always willing to do everything to make me happy! I am so happy! It's like I'm dating my best friend of 17 years! It's weird, but in an extremely good way! This has never happened before! I love him! ~Britney Francis~
