Get Over It

Feeling: thrilled
So I think I'm going to get myself lynched for this entry. But you know what? I don't give a fuck. The whole 9-11 thing then. I'm sorry so many people died. It's a horrible, tagic, senseless catastrophe and I wish it never happened. But you know what? It did. It's been years now and people are still all butt-hurt about it, singing songs and praying to "God." Oh please, I'm not trying to be evil here or anything. It's time to get life going on and on and on like it should be. More babies will be born, more buildings will be built and more people will eventually die. We can't stop it just like we can't stop the earth from spinning perilously into the dark universe. So, in summation: Get over it, make babies, and live your damned life to it's fullest while you can.

-=Addendum=-
As I wrote a comment in shesxinxpains diary, I realized that yes, I hate corrupted politics. But to say "Fuck America" is not for me. I'm a hardass American and proud of it. I think most (I said most) people who say fuck America are brainless idiots who listen too much to "punk" rock and take that as gospel. Oh, because Sid Vicious says destroy America and anarchy is ok, then that gives you the right to destroy the most powerful and diverse country in the world? I don't fucking think you so you little bitches. I don't care if you think I'm part of the "man," I am who I am. I'm a good person, a patriotic American and damn tired of stupid people. Just leave then if this country is so horrible. Babbling little idiots the lot of them.

werd.

i know what you are saying, and i ain't hatin you on that. its been done, get over it. celebrate in your own special way but, stop making it into a big thing when it shouldn't be.

Hell Yeah, I agree with you 100%. Yes it sucked, yes it was tragic, but why dwell on it. Prove that you are better than those fucks that did that crap to us and move on. Don't let your life be ruled by one tragic event. Even if you personally lost somebody, wouldn't you rather celebrate their life than mope around lamenting their death? I'll probably piss a few people off too, but oh well. It's time to move on.

I hate people that are here and complain about it too. I'm like then fucking leave! ahh! lol.. pisses me off too! I agree about the 9-11 stuff too. But some people lost family, so its very important for them.. so I understand that. :)

haha.. you like all of those pictures? I felt the need to make two entries full of pictures, just cause I was so happy my scanner was hooked up again.. hah. yeah.. :D

ok...don't get pissed. I see where your coming from with being proud of being american. Hey, more power to ya, at least your devoted to what you believe in. But you do realize Arabs are NOT the people that we're at war with right?? I really hope so. And also...you could call that racism. I wonder if there's an 'Arab' somewhere thinking "I'm gonna fuck up the next american who walks into town" I really do. Just expressing my opinion here...allowed
i know where you're coming from. those people so say that see that america has some problems, but so does every country. at least our people don't walk around murdering others for territory.

whatever.

anyway, i don't see how september eleventh made us stronger. i think it did just the opposite by showing our weaknesses in a new light.
instead of a huge colored light tribute, that just wastes energy and money, at the site of the trade center attack, how about a plan to build inexpensive housing for homeless.

i think life is harder for them in the long run, than it is for someone who's lost a family member.

but maybe i'd feel differently if i'd lost someone i loved. oh well.
You are a cold heartless bastard. What you don't seem to understand is that there are people who can't feel normal because their families were on those planes and their bodies were never found so they have no closure. So let those who need a memorial to grieve alone. Those people are trying to move on but it has only been two years. They only had the last firefighters funeral last week. You expect over 3000 people to just "get over it"?

And that was only the people who were in the buildings. Let alone all their family who miss them beyond all reason. And where is your brother right now? Over there in the Middle East protecting your LAZY ass so you can sit here and bitch about things you have no capability or desire to feel or understand. You are such an asshole and I am soooo offended. That is not Patriotism. That is callousness.

Yep.
What I meant about you not having the ability to understand is tht you have said yourself that things so not affect you. Therefore you would not be able to fathom the pain that families left behind feel. It takes longer than two years to "get over".

I do agree that televised coverage 24 hours a day of the event at this point is out of hand. But some people who are still grieving need memorials. I just think that it is very cold to say "get over it" when people have had their life ripped apart by a deliberate attack on Americaand everything we stand for.

hey i agree with you. but you just cant say get over it, that is a hard thing to get over.nice diary
