The Vagabond
Dusty wind blowing hot tonight.
Wind ruffles my trench coat
Children run away in fright,
The vagabond has come to town.
Cause I’m a vagabond,
Riding into town alone.
Yes I’m a vagabond,
With no place to call my own.
Known to none, but yet to all,
With mighty pistol at my hip,
I shoot men and watch them fall,
Blood of a hundred men on my hands.
Cause I’m a vagabond,
Riding into town alone.
Yes I’m a vagabond,
With no place to call my own.
With upturned collar I show no fear,
My shadow is my only friend,
And no one comes near.
Riding from town to town.
Cause I’m a vagabond,
Riding into town alone.
Yes I’m a vagabond,
With no place to call my own.
Black Hell
Endless black abyss,
What am I to do?
I think I’m going to die here,
In this darkness I can’t see through.
Lying here,
Motionless on the ground,
There ain’t no light,
And there ain’t no sound.
Cause I’m stuck here,
In this black hell.
There’s no way out,
In this black hell.
Death appears,
He calls me by name.
Will I escape?
Will I be the same?
Lying here,
Motionless on the ground,
There ain’t no light,
There ain’t no sound.
Cause I’m stuck here,
In this black hell.
There’s no way out,
In this black hell.
Iron shackles ‘round my arms,
Death tries to take me down.
White hand protects me,
From Death’s skeletal face frown.
Waking up,
Getting off the ground.
I see the light,
I hear the sound.
I’m no longer stuck,
In that black hell.
I’ve found my way out,
I’ll never again see,
That terrible black hell.
