Anyways...

Things band-wise have been progressing slowly I guess. I've been looking at all the songs I wrote back in the DAY, and wondering how in the hell I used to play them so FAST! Holy EFF! I have been getting rusty, what with not playing much the past year.

It's kinda HARD to do when you're with someone who when you sit down to play guitar accuses you of NOT wanting to spend time with them. Ugh.

ANYWAYS...I'm not even gonna TOUCH that subject.

But re-learning my old riffs is progressing anyways. It's TOUGH, but meh. I'm starting off with the OLDER stuff that isn't so complex, and GRADUALLY moving forward to the TOUGH stuff. I'm also practicing a lot of old MEGADETH to get my speed up as well, which is HELPING. I can play MECHANIX from KILLING IS MY BUSINESS...AND BUSINESS IS GOOD like nobody's business.

Lol.

But on another note...

Things with Danielle have been weird lately. Her EX is an ass, but somehow managed to hang out with her the other day to "talk", whatever that means. Since then, I haven't really SEEN her much. I've been texting her like I USUALLY do, but meh.

I'll just have to wait and see what HAPPENS I guess.

Carolyn and I have also hit it off again, which is AWESOME. She met me at work today and we talked for quite a WHILE, particularly about some guy named Larry at work who always sees us together and just assumed we were DATING.

I wish.

He asked her about me, and she had nothing but good things to say. And when he was asking me about her, I told him exactly how I felt. He looked me square in the eyes and said "Tommy Boy, never pass up a good opportunity".

But we were also talking late the other NIGHT, and she told me she was sick of guys treating her like garbage, so I told her flat out that if I was her MAN I'd always take care of her and make sure she always felt special. I told her that I'd never LIE to her, and I'd always treat her like ROYALTY. She SMILED and I could see genuine happiness creep across her face as she said "I know you would, you're not like everybody else".

Awesome.

And just TODAY she was telling me about how she FLIPPED on some poor jackass that she works with, a story which made me LAUGH quite a bit actually. I put my arm around her shoulder and said "that's my girl", and she smiled at me before saying "I know".

Sooo...I'm getting GOOD vibes here.

But as I stated BEFORE, I'll have to wait and see.
