Listening to: Android Lust
Feeling: caffeinated
I got out my old Projekt compilation today out of boredom and realized how awesome the bands on it are, especailly Android Lust. It's basically this girl Shikhee (born in Bangladesh and raised in the UK and US), who sings and makes the music. I was way into her song when I first got the CD in 2003. Then I kind of forgot. I listened to it today and was blown away. So I checked out the website. The video is amazing, go see it for free at http://stained.androidlust.com and then go to www.androidlust.com and hear some samples of her other songs. Please, I promise she is amazing. EDIT!! She has a myspace too (you can see the video there as well as hear songs)!! www.myspace.com/androidlust!!!!
I'm probably going to let Josh borrow my Projekt compliation and give him a little list with what I think about each song. I plan to get all my friends to listen to the bands I like. It seems to be working. I don't know about Kelly...I'll give her some comps and see what she thinks. So friends, if you are reading, prepare for TOTAL(total total total) DOMINATION (domination domination domination).
Anyway...here are some Android Lust lyrics. Enjoy.
Stained-Android Lust
i stand corrected
guess it just wasn't meant to be
i know i am maladjusted
crush what's inside of me
i know of no remedy
i know not how to cease
this feeling of hate in me
i just want to see you bleed
i know what i want
i want to stop seeing red
i know what i want
i just want to see you dead
i don't want your explanation
i really couldn't care less
i've got my own reminder
this scar across my breast
you are a faker anyway
ever up for a quick release
infect everyone around you
cover up your own disease
i know what i want
i want to stop seeing red
i know what i want
i just want to see you dead
i know what i want
i want to stop seeing red
i know what i want
i just want to see you dead
i know what i want
i want to stop seeing red
i know what i want
i just want to see you DEAD
Awechume!
'Cept you're not brainwashing me. They're bands I would have liked anyway, I bet. 'Cept Voltaire. I really had to listen to him at first. You do have very good taste in music, though. Me'sa give you that. ;P
