Wow, yesterday i went to church for the first time since 8th grade. (that makes around 3-4 years) so....yeah..here i dressed up (cuz that's what we did when i went before)and man! I was like a freakin odd ball! I wore black dressy pants and a dressy shirt. note to self:buy lots of polka dotted/plaid/striped/flowered dresses and white round hats! So yeah, i walked in and dwayne headed right to the water fountain..so i followed...then when we came out people were looking at me weird so i said to dwayne "they're all looking at me weird!" he's like "no they're not" probably assuming that i have some kind of paranoid personality disorder. (which could be true)we sat in the back row..i couldnt not hear. there were distractions EVERYWHERE! the people sneezing, coughing, THE BABIES CRYING/YELLING! ight just so everyone knows, i like babies, but i dont think THEY SHOULD GO TO CHURCH. i guess some families have no other choice. Or maybe its the thing to do these days, take your baby to church. but i swear that there were more babies in that room than i have ever seen in my whole life. (at one time) and the biggest distraction was right beside me. It would have been alot better if i could have heard the guy. (pastor?) Let's just say, that was quite the experience. I was nervous at first, but then i loosened up. Dwayne was trying to get me to sing the hymns..i didnt feel right..so i waited until i got a lil comfortable, and then i sang. you cant just take a non believer into church and expect them to just jump right into all the fun..i have to learn and accept things before i begin to believe. but i did remember one thing in one of the prayers. "ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find." well i'm done for today, dont forget to tell me your church experiences in comments.
