i worked 8 hours yesterday...i never knew denny's had so much business..but they do, especially on the weekends....which kind of sucks because then people get slower service and they complain. This morning when i woke up i felt like crap...total crap! So i called in and asked for the manager...it was debbie ...i said "debbie, this is tonya, i feel really crappy and i would like to not come in today..my head feels like it's 50 pounds...and she's like "well, i feel the same way, we're going to be really busy so you need to come in"..i say..."well, i'm not going to be much of a help"...."well, come in anyway, we need what we can get"....i'm like...."um...okay" and then i hung the phone up because i was sad/pissed/sick/pissed...all at once....i guess it wasn't so bad, but they're all so unhappy in there and it's so discouraging to continue working there. The only good thing is that i can make between $85- $200 in tips, when i ACTUALLY GET TO SERVE. they're bitches and i have a feeling they're going to be uncooperative once i start to full time with mom...so....i might stick it out for a few months (maybe) and then go back to trindle..i think i just needed some time away from it...i kinda miss it....and i don't mind it at all in the winter...as long as the people i work with do thier jobs....alright..well i'm gonna go relax in the tub..
