So, I don't really feel much like blogging - I haven't been to talkitive about stuff, but then again, not much has happened. My life as of now is pretty okay. Things are looking up with Devin. I've been told it may be a bad idea, but to quote Melissa Ethridge, "...the truth of the heart is people can change." So that makes me pretty happy. And on a quite hilarious note, April and I just got out of being stuck in the mud (thanks to my dad who is now our hero.) So the story to that: We went to the new Kohl's to see if there was anything about hiring, and we realized that the parking lot was totally mud. So, we got to turn around and go out, and then we realize that we're in mud. So we do the whole "back, forward, etc." thing, and it isn't working. So I'm all, "Do you want me to call my dad?" and she's like, "No, I'll call Drew." Well, Drew's on his way to Poseyville with some people, and we're like, "Crap." So I call Daddy. He comes, and saves our asses, but OMG were we filthy. Oh, and of course, us being us, we DEFINATLY have pictures. Then when we were unstuck and Dad left, we went and played a bit, and that's when we took pictures. So that was a fun adventure. We both wanted to stay and just play in the mud, but we figured it'd be a bad idea for tonight since my dad was already kinda moody for having to come dig us out. lol But we've also decided that we're going to have to go play in the mud some other time. :-D Anyway, that was a fun-filled experience.
