what a day, what a day it has been. 1. doc appt. - upped 10mg to now 30mg. too bad i had to wait for a half hour (that's one half hour past the time my appointment was scheduled to begin) for a ten minute conversation with him. it was actually.. comical in some parts. "any side effects.. anything sexual for instance?" "well.. uh.. like delayed orgasm..." "yes, most males experience that one. and most of them don't see it as much of a problem at all!" says the doctor as he slaps the table and laughs a big, hearty laugh. 2. getting a library card. - for some reason i was thinking a library card cost money, but apparently they're free. and i also thought i would have to wait a week or so for them to mail it to me, but apparently they give it to you on the spot. a brand new, shiny pioneer library system library card is now in my possession. 3. work. - way too many deliveries today. i'm going to get a speeding ticket one of these days. 4. putting my library card to use. - i checked out four books and i have 28 days to read them. /point counter point /the genius and the goddess both by aldous huxley /tropic of cancer by henry miller /lullaby by chuck palahnuik they should be interesting. why didn't i get a library card earlier? and it's only 7 o'clock.
