Listening to: the washing machine
Feeling: happy
so yesterday me and adrian ripped up the carpet in the livingroom. guess what was underneath it? linolium.. then newspapers from 1948 and 1947! then hardwood. how weird is that? they're all intact and whatnot. there's stuff about Queen Elizabeth's first kid, when she was still Princess Elizabeth. and there's an original Orange Crush ad. the papers are the winnipeg tribune, which is now the winnipeg sun. so yeah. there's also a trap door going down into the basement, which was there when there weren't stairs and the basement was just a root cellar. so weird. we still have to pull up the carpet in the sunroom, which has newspapers under it too. my dad said that the museum might want them, cause there's alot of stuff about the way the city was post-war, and about the 1947 flood, which they only have reprinted copies of pictures for. who knows? so, chris now has three jobs... and so does adrian. we figure that we should redo the fence first, that way the dogs can be left outside by themselves, and so they can't jump it or crawl through where it's broken. the boss knows where we can get a safety for cheap, and even if something small is wrong with the car.. yay! which means the mazda will be back on the street. it's such a pretty car. but now we have to fix the brakes and rotors on the shadow, and then reinsure it, and adrian will drive it, cause the mazda is a two seater. i had to buy like, two new bathing suits. my orange one is too big, and then i bought a blue one. then i couldn't find the top, so i had to go buy another one cause we were taking darian to the beach. it's cool, cause the one i have is brown, with a tanktop kind of top, and it has a little blue circle design on the left side of the bottoms, and the right side of the top. it's a size eight. so cool. i'm happy. i'm so brown too.. chris's mom said she's jealous of my tan. i'm as dark as my sister, and she goes to fabutan every third day. darian's sooooo cute. she's not like a little baby anymore. she speaks perfectly clear, and she's almost as tall as gordon. and he's six. she's only going to be three next month. oh no.. it's the 3rd already? we forgot to drop off our rent... shit. well, craig's pretty cool, we'll have to do it tomorrow. anywho, i have nothing to write about.
the one, the only, laura michelle*
