Well, there isn't much new to say. I've been partying pretty much non-stop lately. One party melts into another hangover and that hangover soon becomes another party. I know what your thinking. "But what about your classes, Doug??!" Well..they're going alright. I dropped my shitty calculus class and joined a course on the ancient history of philosophy. I did this after having a long conversation with my old philosophy professor who happens also to be the director of the philosophy department. He said that if I was serious about persuing something in philosophy, I should take this course. My professor seems really smart and also seems to posess a genuine interest in the course. Of course, right now we're just doing the basic start of class bullshit, but it seems to be going well. Also, I have a good friend of mine in the course as it turns out. She is also pretty smart and may be able to help me out when (shudders) studying. I've started smoking cigarrettes regularly now. I never thought I would after having been around my Dad smoking all of the time...but slowly and surely I gave in...and now I'm starting to become hooked. I'd like to stop..but I don't see that happening for a while. I'm having a whole lot of fun..perhaps too much lately. I feel bad because I've been so busy pretty much since the moment I got back to college and I haven't been talking to a lot of the people that I talked with extensively over the summer. To those of you who are reading this(and you know who you are) I'm sorry to have blown you off so much. I wish we could talk more, but I've just got so many new friends and things to do around here that demand pretty much all of my time. Also..I met a girl. Sorry kids. Update: I lost a girl. Sorry me.
