Lately I've been exploring the concept that Satan created the world while God wasn't looking. I've been seeing that there is a lot to be said for this theory. I mean, I would say that there are more evil things in this world than good things. Think of all the shitty things that happen all the time all over the world. Many of us know these shitty things personally. I think that if we were created by some diety(which I am pretty sure not to believe), we would probably do as many things in that diety's image as possible. We would be more like Satan than God if he existed. This pisses God off so much that he has foresaken the earth to go on through eternity without him. On the contrary, if you believe that God created Satan and then Satan created the us, then you believe God, essentially, created us. Thats about how far I got with this concept. We didn't start the fire. Its been burnin' since the world's been turning.

Good Theory. If Satin created the world, then you can only go to heaven if you can live in hell and be immune to it. Then you prove yourself to god and be allowed into his world.

I don't think satan created us.
Satan and god are, like , worst enemies. If satan is so evil, which he is, then he would not let us even know of a god, because god is loving and all powerfull.
So, what I am saying is that if satan created us, you wouldn't be saying what you just said. You would be running off to sacrifice some poor unsuspecting being.

Well, perhaps God looks in from time to time and is still able to make changes in us. Or maybe Satan wants us to know the enemy. No general of war will have you fight for a cause without knowing your enemy. And, as for the reverse side, if God created us, why did he let us know Satan? To know our enemy.

Well we started out prety good if you recal the sunday school stories. It wasn't untill we went and screwed thing up for ourselves that things started going down hill. Heck we weren't even ment to die. Because of the stupit apple thing we now die, work hard for little reward, and have painfull child birh.
It's not that I want to preserve my body cuz after I go to heaven its of no use to me so I figure I might as well entertain the world
Regarding your comments on truth:
truth is defined as being that which is the case rather than what is manifest or assumed SO someones belifs are not fact they are manifests, and often we er in our assumtions. In my opinion I believe something BECAUSE it is true, not something is true BECAUSE I believe it. If I said I didn't belive there was anything to keep my feet on the ground would I then be able to fly? No, because wether I think claims tbc
to the existance of gravity are true or false the law of gravity aplies to me.(unfortunately cuz it would be really cool to fly) I hope that was all coherent which I fear it is not
Maybe Satan created this scenario so that we would hate God. I mean, he shows us something that sounds so inticing(the tree of knowledge of good and evil) and says we cannot have it. Satan shows us that we should do whatever it is that we feel we should do and not what God wants us to do. Then God banishes us forever. I don't know about you, but I'm a little pissed off that God took away paradise. Or maybe Satan was tricking us and playing God...
...and Satan. Maybe we only thought it was God, when it was really just Satan in disguise.
As to the whole truth commentary, if you believed yourself flying would it be anyless true to you? It may not be the truth as everyone else sees it, but in your mind it is true. You could be dellusional or dreaming, but does not a dream seem real until the waking? Also, the manifest is fact in the mind of the lunatic so fact is defined by the mind as well.
ok now your getting into the philosophical question of existance itself. ie how do you know (fill in the blank)? How do you knw you exist? How do you know you are alive, solid, thinking? How do you know that you are sitting in a chair? These questions are infinately frustrating and I at this present time hae no answer but I know there is one (how do I know you ask? DAMN I guess I don't!) It all comes down to faith, TBC
And not even neccisarily faith in God, or Ala or the cheese god. Ivery person has to take a leap of faith to even know THAT they exist... no wonder we have problems figureing out why we exist or how we came to exist. If anyone wants to be really confused argue with a philosophey major about how you know you are indeed alive.
