It's been a bad month for American Icons

Feeling: gelatinous
First David Carradine (star of Kung Fu and Kill Bill) was found in Thailand, possibly a victim of his own auto-eroticism. Then Ed McMahon (Johnny Carson sidekick and host of Star Search) passed away at the beginning of this week. He was old, kinda knew it was coming. Then Thursday rolls around and two iconic figures go on the same day. Farrah Fawcett at 62, who was battling anal cancer, and Michael freaking Jackson at 50. They're saying it was cardiac arrest, but Jesus! Even though he led a questionable lifestyle, he was the frontman (boy) for the Jackson 5 and he brought us Thriller, Billy Jean and Beat It. He will be forever missed by us all. And I just found out that Billy Mays, the guy behind OxyClean and other menial products, was found dead last night in his home. No word on the cause of death, either. All in all, this just solidifies my desire to never be famous. Le never. R.I.P. and you will all be missed from your own corner of the universe.
