Black and White

Feeling: nutty
I guess life is back to normal now, and it's almost the summer... but the one thing I've wanted to do this whole past weekend is talk about how great it was, then I'll get to the sad part (today). So I got to see Zach Dodds perform again at Marble Slab Creamery on Friday, and the man is just... admirable. He just puts together such peaceful, beautiful, and risiliant music with such ease and grace that there's nothing to even dislike about the guy. It's just whenever I go to listen to him, I couldn't have a care in the world, and it's like, for that few moments in time, everything is okay... and I feel better, regardless how bad I was feeling. He even won prom king, which is just... AH!... he's so amazing it hurts me. Which brings me to my next point, prom. It was a prettty sweet experience, and I don't think it's one of those things you soon forget about your high-school experience. I just loved being able to go: 1. As a sophomore with a free ticket 2. With Hadas, because she's another one of those people that just never ceases to amaze me, and I love being around (oh, and she had the coolest dress ever too.) and 3. With enough money... I successfully raised enough money to go, which I never thought I'd be able to do. Another kinda sweet thing that happened was the limo was an hour late afterwards so he gave us 2 free hours to drive around Mill Avenue and Downtown Phoenix and stuff, which was quite relaxing and rather enjoyable. So I guess with every two nice things that happened there has to be one remarkably bad one. So that brings me to today. It started off pretty well watching this girl present her book report on The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers, by way of dozens of action figures and strenuous summary. But minus that and second hour, my day was terrible. I learned that I can't keep my car like I thought, even though I did meet my parents requirements to be able to keep it. I was constantly judged by our Student Body prez. again for apparently "not doing my work" after I had gone to CostCo, bought 200$ worth of stuff with a Purchase Order I took out, unloading it all for a Yearbook party, filling out facility requests and talking to the Yearbook teacher about projector rental. And too add to all the fun, I got called to the nurses office to be yelled at for not having all of my immunizations, so I got to leave school 5 minutes early to... you guessed it, get a real fun tetnus shot. So even though my day was a frantically terrible one, I still just have such a feeling of rest knowing that I had a fantastic weekend and the school year's almost over. So hang in there kids, only a few days left. I love you guys, thanks for being there for me, even when I'm not quite here for myself.
