Life Lessons... and Christmas

Feeling: good
Today's Christmas... it was a good time, this year I actually had my own money to buy gifts so I felt much better about myself. I think giving really is cooler than receiving most of the time. I've got some family over, and I guess everything is well. I did learn one thing to keep with me for the rest of my life today, how to fix a flat tire. I had a massive screw stuck in my front-left tire today, so I actually replaced the tire by myself. I know it's not rocket science, but I was still proud of myself. I also washed my car and vacuumed the interior, so my car is definitely in good shape. I did get a really cool gift from my dad though, a pair of Allen Edmunds dress shoes, apparently their wickedly expensive, but I think it was just one of those really cool gifts that really mean alot sentimentally. Other than that, I got alot of clothes and gift cards, it was a good holiday. I've got work tomorrow because I (foolishly) confirmed to Dan (my boss) that I had this week off of school. He definitely took full advantage of the fact that I was on break this past week, I worked 28 hours total... 22 of those hours were over the course of the last 3 days, which is fairly ridiculous, but I can't really complain, having my own money to spend is a new luxury to me... it's awesome not to be having to bum money off of my parents all the time. Anyways, I'm going to get some dessert, but you all have an excellent weekend/holiday. Sleep well kids.
