Me and George Orwell

Feeling: amused
I'm in the process of reading 1984. I feel like I'm taking advantage of excellent literature when I'm doing what I'm doing now... but I did decided what I'm going to do about it. What I do is pretty much procrastinate reading until the night before... read all the summaries on 1984 and use stylish dialect and fake motifs that sound good with my oral book report. This is what I'm going to do though. I'm going to tell my teacher that I didn't actually read the book, but (having attained it today) I'll start reading it and acutally do the book justice for our next quarter book report. I think that'll be a pretty honest and noble thing to do, not to mention that she's a really cool teacher and I think she'll see some value in it. I also just realized something real about the book, there are really cool themes that are used dozens of times in society today. I just thought of the Radiohead album "Hail to the Theif"... there's actually songs that are just directly related to what the book's trying to portray (you see where I'm going with this (I'm talking about what the book is portraying and I haven't even read a page of it... geez I'm a terrible person). Anyways, I just finished my Trig homework completely and I can safely say that I did all of it CORRECTLY! Yeah! Okay I'm going to bed, talk to you kids later.
