Jeremy's leaving Breaking Benjamin!!!! Well, he isn't leaving, he's getting fired. Or, "his services are no longer needed" in the band. Here's the letter that Jeremy posted on shallowbay.net. "Dear Breaking Benjamin Fans, I write to you on this day,September 12,with news of both good and bad nature. Yvette and I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Wednesday,September 2. His name is Julian Raymond Hummel and he absolutely amazing. Tuesday afternoon,September 7,I received a phone call from Ben Burnley informing me that the band has decided my services are no longer needed. What I cannot tell you is exactly why this has happened. There is no definitive reason. What I CAN tell you and assure you of is that I have done nothing to warrant this decision. My action nor my words have determined this fate. I have always treated my position in this band with respect and professionalism. While I will no longer be a "member" of Breaking Benjamin, I am extremely proud of the band's current success as I have been there since Day 1. During my time in the band, I feel we made some fantastic music. I want to thank the fans for your enthusiasm and support. Sincerely, Jeremy." While I congradulate him on his his newborn son, that happy news definitely isn't enough to make up for the fact that he'll no longer be the drummer in Breaking Benjamin. I'm not quite sure whose decision this was, but the letter definitely made me wonder if Ben is worth liking anymore.
