i've got to hurry so i can get back downstairs and be working on my homework before mum & dad get home. friday and saturday were very good days. well, for the most part. friday was my last track meet, and i think i spent it well. i did run, even though i could have run more and i'm really pissed at my performance with track since i definitely could have done much better. i think i'll start running more often, since it's getting warmer out and i need to catch some sun anyway before i jump on a plane to new zealand; straight back to cold, humid winter. anyways, back to the subject, i hung out with dano and reyn for most of it which would have been much funner had dano not shown up, but whatever. reyn has got to be one of my favorites. they got in reyn's car and made me go stand in front of reyn's window and we talked there. then reyn was like "dano thinks your hot," and they pulled out their cell phones (which were the exact some one) and started snapping photos of me. yeah, it was weird. then they left and i chilled with cortney, we got on the bus, i changed into the clothes i'd been wearing at school so i could go to the dance, and then at sky view i got off the bus and into my mom's car where i went to the dance. oh, the dance. it was confusing at first because when i found nick and jessie and all of them, nick hugged me but almost immediately left again. so i danced with jessie, who wasn't actually in that great of a mood. then a slow song came on and we started slow dancing around the room, being super cute and all; me in my twirly skirt and her in her cute white blouse. the black light made us glow. then nick stopped us and tried to cut in, saying "one of you, now. rock off." jessie motioned for me but i took her hands and said, "excuse me, but i am dancing with my best friend." so then he left and jessie smiled at me and said, "thank you." we danced some more and then a fast song came on and we started jamming again. somehow we parted and then it was me and whitney and katie and harley and jessie (boy). the rest just went on like this until You and Me by Lifehouse came on, and i had to go find nick. we danced a little, and then i turned his head and kissed him. he was a little sweaty, but it was cute because the reason he was sweaty was that he was wearing this long sleeved jacket and sun glasses trying to be mexican. haha. we slow danced for most of the other slow songs and made out a bit. it was nice. on saturday night, around eight, i met nick, blake, clayton, makade, tanner, some random chick, and carlie hunsaker at elk ridge park. the guys started dinking around with their lacrosse sticks and balls (haha) and i sat on the ground and watched, occasionally dodging and ducking from them. then harley showed up and makade and the two girls disappeared, and i chilled with the guys until some girl, Jen i think, came along and then she mostly chilled with tanner. eventually we decided to walk to tanner's house, and then me and nick ended up making out on the grass after gazing at the stars. then we migrated to a field, me on top of him, him quivering from the cold, making out, him saying cute things... it was really really nice. i don't even know anymore.
