so jake and his brother stephen just left my house; we sat outside and talked and watched the lightning and played guitar and sang and just chilled. it was probably one of the best nights in a while. my dad's gonna gift stephen our old 87 chevy nova and he's gonna fix it up. so that's lucky for him; i've always wanted it but that's okay - if he can fix it and wants to drive it, good for him. i've missed just sitting and talking to jake - he really is my best friend, like probably more so than kate. but i've known him longer so.. i don't know. tomorrow's the big chili party. that's exciting. kate and probably jake are gonna come over and chill with me so i'm not bored out of my mind. i dunno, tonight was really fun even if we did absolutely nothing.
