Finally, I have returned from my vacation with the Hawkins family to Florida. We took an extra day on the way home and went to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City. In total, I was gone for 11 days. There were lots of good times, some bad times. At least it wasn't boring. No, the Hawkins never have a boring vacation. Basically, we did lots of fun stuff such as beaching it up, boating it up (tubing and kneeboarding), rented motor scooters and jet skis (not at the same time though), went crabbing, got pedicures, went shopping, played a couple games of pool, read a couple books, and watched some movies. As for the bad things, there were 2 flat tires, 2 hospital trips, a 6 hour mattress delivery event. Anyway, I am quite tired now as I got quite sun-burnt at WOF. It'll be nice to finally sleep in my own bed without scratchy sheets like I had to sleep in last night.
