Man, I love it when I feel needed. It's just a great feeling.
Anyways, here I am, back in action on my sit diary. I know some of you (at least Beth) missed my updates there for awhile. I've been busy busy busy with lots of stuff. But I just finished a history essay exam and what better way is there to relax after that then to write in my fun online journal. Man, I love this place, it's great.
Anyways, I'm sure some people are wondering how my weekend in T-town went. Let me tell you then, that it was wonderful and a half. I'm so glad that I got to go down and see Cindy. Sometimes I think I forget how much I miss her since we are both so busy. But who else will just get up at a random time and start doing the same exact dorky dance as me? And not think that I'm a complete freak for doing it.
So here's the run-down (or fun-down, if you will :P) of what I did this past weekend:
*registered for classes on Friday morning and my schedule sucks but that's life i guess . . . this is only important because it made me really late in the leaving for Tulsa thing
*Karen and I finally left the building around 2:30 but we didn't get out of Ames until 3 . . . if you know Ames, you know that it's not a long drive to get out of it . . . so why did it take so long, you ask . . . all I have to say is the stupid BP in front of Borders is near impossible to get in and out of if you are going in the direction we were
*drove for 7 1/2, 8 hours down to Tulsa . . . well, i drove for like 6 and Karen drove the rest of the way . . . it was great fun, I got McDonald's on the way
*Dropped Karen off at her house and then followed her dad to the TU campus so I wouldn't get lost in the massiveness of Tulsa
*had a hoot-a-nanny with Cindy on Friday night just hanging out
*got up and went to lunch with my mom and sister, who drove from Norman **update on my sister: she didn't get her appendix out because now they think it was something else but she's feeling a lot better** we went and got some yum pizza at Mazzio's and watched part of the OU game, where they shut out Texas A&M
*Cindy met us there after she got off work and then I said goodbye to my mom and sister and Cindy and I headed out to 71st street to go shopping, or at least window shopping, it was great, we also went to saks fifth avenue, where I saw the juicy pants from gilmore girls but those things were 108 bones!! no bones about it, that's too much for sweatpants!!
*we went to olive garden to eat some yum yum alfredo, then we wanted to give my left overs to a homeless person but all we had was a dirty spoon for them to eat it with and we thought it would be kinda disrespectful to give them that . . . which reminded us of the seinfeld with the muffin stumps
*then we went and i got some of the guys from the halo video's autograph, which totally made the day super awesome, i also have their new website with tons of new videos, including donut boy, i'll post it on here later . . . i even got winked at by captain halo!! then he laughed at me when i tried to wink back
*then cindy and i rented rat race and laughed our butts off (silly mr bean)
*sunday morning, we went to Kirk of the Hills, Cindy's church in Tulsa, with her friend Mindy
*went to Sunday brunch in her cafeteria
*looked at pictures and reminisced for a long time . . . oh sad, how the time flys :(
*then karen's mom dropped her off at TU, and off we were again, this time in the northeasterly direction
*oh yeah, some really cute guys at a gas station waved at me, they wanted to follow me and karen onto the interstate but too bad karen thought it would be funny to throw around my juice bottle so it started leaking
Anyways, so that's the basic gist of what I did this weekend, it was great fun. Things I will always remember about the trip (some have already been mentioned):
*Dry Fork
*German Christmas pickle and OU branding
*Juicy Pants
*Toot Toot the resteraunt
*dancing around to FIF
*meeting the Halo guys
*Donutboy and grape soda kid
*cute gas station boys
*Karen head banging to country with a ponytail on the side of her head
*chocolate ice cream and crotch fizzler
*winking at Cindy's friends in the car next to us
*murder street u.s.a
*Saks Fifth Avenue and the guy getting a makeover
Yeah, so tons of fun for everyone.
Well, hmmmmmm. Let me just say that ecards can really truly make someone's day. I just love when people do random acts of kindness.
Which reminds me, I have to get something for my mail sister. Maybe I'll just give her this cupcake that's been sitting on my desk since dinner last night.
Man, we really have to decorate for Thanksgiving up in here, since Megan won't let me decorate for Christmas yet. Oh, Christmas!! I seriously can't wait. I think each year, my Christmas bug gets worse. Seriously, everytime I think about it, it makes me want to cry. Christmas is just so magical, for many different reasons. I love it. Although it does make me wish I was home for it so I could do all the Christmas things there. But the great tradition of the Christmas pickle will live on forever! I JUST LOVE CHRISTMAS!! As soon as Thanksgiving is over, I'm changing my theme to my diary, just so you all know. HHHMmmmmmm, it's hard to guess what I will change it to, isn't it.
Anyways, I've spent 27 minutes writing this journal entry, that's definitely enough destressing time. I feel so much better!
you know you love me ;)
