9.00 a So we now have an illegal cat. Fun times for all. Except for the fact that she is meowing at my door right now because I am the only one awake. Hung out at TP's last night and watched Centre Stage and Where The Heart Is. TP and I made our invites for Bible Study, which we have our meet-and-greet for tonight at Hickory Park (hurrah for ice cream!). Today is going to consist of church, studying/napping, and then Hickory Park. Maybe I'll also do something else in there too, like watch a movie, but I can't plan that far ahead. Well, I better finish getting ready for cornerstone (blah). Maybe I'll make another entry later if something exciting happens (doubtful it will though). you know you love me ;) ___________________________________________ oh so much later . . . 11.14 p I have to give a speech tomorrow. A speech. Already. Second Monday of class and I have to give a speech. It's just a 2 minute introductory speech and it's not technically graded but that doesn't make me any less nervous. Possibly because I am doing it about a pen. Stupid Price Is Right pen. Yeah, and you wonder how I made it to college with all my lack of public speaking skills. I think my mom paid someone off here at ISU, otherwise, you know, I'd probably be at Metro or something. I just need to focus and go to my happy place. A happy place that is quiet and calm and you need no public speaking skills because you are an awesome enough writer and there's not a bazillion pages of reading to do already. Today was our first bible study. Technically, we just all got to know each other by going out to eat at Hickory Park. I had cheeseballs and ice cream (and we're back on the college diet -- I'm so going to the Rec on Tuesday before my only class at 2). TP and I counted, though, and we may have up to 12 girls coming to our Bible Study. That's a lot. But it's an answer to prayer, so who cares? We can handle it, God, bring them on over!!! I had the worst dream last Thursday night. It was horrible because it was actually a perfect dream of what I wish would happen but will never but yet it was completely realistic. WHY? SO NOT FUNNY? ARE YOU LAUGHING, I'M NOT LAUGHING. OK, I better either go and do some studying/copying notes from WebCT or just go to bed. I have 5 classes tomorrow and I don't want to fall asleep in any of them. you know you love me ;) ps - the cat's name is Cassie, picture is pending :)
