Yeah, well, that was interesting. To say the least. Just when I thought life couldn't get any weirder, someone goes and proves me wrong.
I know how to solve this problem, eat some chocolate. Yes, chocolate solves everything.
So I was supposed to go to church with Anna this morning but she went home without telling me last night. But when I got home at 2:30 this morning, it was too late to ask TP if I could go with her. Plus, that may have killed me for lack of sleep. Although tomorrow is a holiday so I'm sure I could've done it, I am super woman after all. Oh wait, that's right, I am not.
Here's my lesson for the day:
We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.
Sounds like a line I heard in Forces of Nature last night while I was getting ready. Sandra Bullock's character is giving marriage advice to Ben Affleck's character, it goes something like this:
If she ever does something wrong, just remember that she is dealing daily with a mountain of imperfections, so you may just want to let that one slide.
This are both good lessons for me today, although I don't plan on having a wife in this lifetime. But I think I need to remember both of these with people and stop expecting so much out of them.
So here's the scoop on the whole Dance Marathon Canning Incident. Megan, Heathyr, and I reluctantly went canning Thursday night. Even though I had to get up for my 9:00 class the next morning, I went. But we weren't very happy canners. We didn't really want to be doing it and it was cold, so we weren't all gung-ho about it in the first place. But then, we get snotty comment after snotty comment from the other half of the canning team. So I decide I am just going home, as it is like 1 in the morning and I don't have to take comments like that. So I called Nikki and she came and picked us up.
Something in the hall keeps beeping. It's like super-sonicly high beeping. I think my eardrums are bleeding.
WOH! (Joey Lawrence-style) Just as I finish typing that last bit, there's a knock on my door. It was Emily across the hall, asking what she should do since her smoke detector keeps beeping. Ah, another mystery solved by Encyclopedia Brown. Oh wait, that's right, I'm not him either. But those were good books to read, I liked them. My favorite was one mystery that had to do with hard boiled eggs. Sounds dumb, I know but it stumped me.
Anyways, I better go now, I have things to do today! Boring things like studying and cleaning but also fun things like hanging out with My New Friend Katie. I don't know how long she is going to have that title, but it's a good title, no?
J'ai deux frommages dans mon pantalons.
I have two cheeses in my pants.
French is funny, no?
you know you love me ;)
