First of all, I must say congrats to G. Dubs for winning a second term. And Iowa swung back to Republican, the first time since the 80's. And that's without my vote. This is as political as I am going to get. Please don't leave me mean messages.
Second, last night, TP, Megs, and I all dyed our hair. I went to as dark as you can get without being black. Megan went from golden blonde/light brown to medium brown, which looks really fantastic on her. TP went from really light blonde to reddish brown with highlights. She looks amazing too. We are all super stars with our cool, darker hair.
This weekend is the show down!! Cyclones VS Huskers, who is the worst team? I really doubt the Cyclones can beat the Husker defense but the Husker offense pretty much stinks too. The Cyclones just stink all together. I can only say this because I go to the school. Anyone else who says that and doesn't go here is a big fat liar!! I'm only excited for the game because so many people are coming to visit. Apparently, 5 guys are staying at Brian's and BOTH Rachels are coming, which makes me pumped because they are both so cute.
Megan and I had the apartment to ourselves the other night and it was WONDERFUL!!!!! Karen's gone all week and Heathyr spent the night at home to vote in the morning. It was especially nice since we moved the furniture around in the living room because it is ten times better than it was before. We watched The Majestic, which I just bought and had never seen (it was $4 at Walgreens), and talked for a long time. Brings back good old memories of living in Oak/Elm last year.
Speaking of which, I think I am moving back. I've only told Megan of my 3 roommates that so far but she's the only one who reads my journal so it's safe to post in here. It's not like I hate the apartment, it's just different and I have my whole life to live in an apartment. I can have such an impact on the girls in my bible study if I'm living on their floor. So yeah, there's my current thoughts about next year.
I think I'm going overseas this summer. Pray about that. France or Australia probably. Both seem scary to me although I speak both languages.
Next week is Super Shae's birthday, the best Shafina that I know. She's also the only Shafina I know, but those are minor details. Although if her cousin moves here from Africa, that will be another Shafina that I know. Imagine having the same name as your cousin who you know well but only over the phone and the internet and have never actually met because she lives literally across the world. That's crazy.
Um, I think that's enough study time wasted. I really think the plan to flunk out of school and work at the mall should be instigated soon.
you know you love me ;)
:)
going to france or australia would be cool i'm sure. would you go the whole summer or just for part of it?
