Ephesians 5:4. we shouldn't forget that it really is wrong to say bad jokes and cuss...everyone thinks it's ok just because it's normal. well it's not ok if u couldn't tell by the Bible verse. everyone is in their own walk with the Lord though, so it takes some people much longer to realize their faults than others. bad things only seem normal because the world is an evil place...therefore do not keep your mind on earthly things, but keep on your goal(heaven). who cares if everyone else is doing it..forget peer pressure. there is no peer pressure when you know who you are and what you are and are not supposed to do. but how do i know what i am supposed to do u may ask? once again the Bible provides the answer, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law" Galatians 5:22. ok so those are the things i'm supposed to do but what are some things that i should stay away from u may again wonder? "The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as i did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God" Galatians 5:21. and so that is my message for the night...i really felt like i had to get that down in my diary. fruit of the spirit is also my diary name so i've listed those for u. night all! have a good one and God bless. *manda* p.s. this entry is not at all aimed toward anyone in particular - just some feelings coming out. :)
