why do bad things happen to good people? i mean they still mess up sometimes but they don't deserve it....it's not fair!!....right? wrong. 1) sometimes bad things happen to good people so that others around them can take note of the way they handle the situation. there will always be things going wrong in all of our lives...this we know for sure...but it's alway easier to handle when we have someone else's good example to follow. 2) God doesn't do things without having them completely already thought through first. the thing we see as bad could turn out to be for the best several minutes, days, or even years later. there are always good things that come from the bad things that happen in our lives. sometimes we just need to open our eyes a little to see the good that follows..and sometimes we just have to have faith in the good. 3) last but not least, we need a little humility in our lives in order to humble ourselves before the Lord. if we go along with our lives and we are always constantly at the peak of happiness and everything is always going right, we are bound to get a sense of self-sufficiency. however, God is there creating situations we may classify as unfortunate so that He might be glorified as opposed to ourselves. *do everything through the glory of God this is what we talked about wednesday night and that's what i got from the conversation so i thought i'd share with all of you:) take care guys.
