best 25 cents eVeR!

Feeling: talkative
THE MEET. (we took 8th out of 16 teams) *brushes shoulder off*...not to shabby. To make a long story short, it was pretty fun. I love it when we stay overnight at places..because I think that's when we all get to know each other really well. (or maybe it just makes us scared of each other..who knows?) The hotel was ghetto..but I found it quite intriguing. The first day of the meet went by like a groveling, injured snail, but perhaps that was because I sat bored out of my mind for 4 miserably hot hours..then swam the 200 I.M. -placed 9th- [After that I was done for the rest of the day.] Next day was better. I swam 3 events that happened throughout the next 6-8 hours we were there. The 100 Fly -placed 5th- the 200 Free Relay -placed...something, and 400 Free Relay -placed 6th- over all..a very good meet considering that we had Logan the day before... *sigh* a weekend full of meets...me likey. Basically the whole weekend I spent my time chillin' with the guys. one word. fun. When we arrived back at our lovely hotel we seperated into 2 different rooms and sat glued to the television screen watching "The Mask". -lame movie by the way- But I guess the lameness of the movie was balanced out when all the guys decided that the girls needed to have back massages. I have to say that "I love the way that the guys part of the swim team thinks." I was given an excellent massage by Scott. He was pretty dang good at it too. Maybe that's because he's got a class on Athletic Training..and he knows his stuff. *shrugs* Or SoMeThInG lIkE tHaT. Scottie and I actually chit-chatted and joked around together alot this weekend. I think I know him a lot better (he's very cool), he helped me through my whole B.H. dilemma. >very sweet< *sigh* I will never forget Tetras (sp?) -even though cell phones are over-rated, it's amazing how much entertainment one can get from them- I spent quite a bit of time with Brady as well. On the bus ride home we were so freaking bored that we passed a note back and forth the whole way back. - (Please note that we were in seats right next to each other and we may as well have just talked....but..then....we were both listening to music)- We wrote about lots of things...including: 1. music -the elixier(sp?) of life 2 people we liked and didn't like 3. food we thought was disgusting 4. the possibility of him going to state 5. relationships and romance 6. bubble gum-we both like double bubble- 7. pink teddy bears 8. the bus driver -------->by the way..this guy (yes..it was a guy) was a freaking GRINCH!..talk about pms...honestly- 9. how emily b. made eric look like a girl. 10. favorite color...black.black.black.black.black. stuff like that. After the meet we all (ya know.."the posse") drove over to M's house and watched "The Best of Chris Farley" and "Out Cold"..... ............"Out Cold" was............... ok. And some of the stuff on the other movie was hillarious. I probably won't watch either one of them again. After the movie I took Brady, Matt, Wade, Ryan, and Eric home..wow...it was awesome....most of the ride home was spent screaming "DO A DIDDY DIDDY DUM DIDDY DO..SINGING DO A DIDDY DIDDY DUM DIDDY DO!".....great song..and we had fun with it..then we doorbell ditched Natalie's house ( mostly just for Matt...lol) then...continued on the drive back home. I spent the best 25 cents ever down at the meet. ....wow...what an incredilby long drive it is to get there...grrr..oh well. .......we went to eat at Wendy's before we drove home. They had a gumball machine. It was in the hallway across from the dining area..and anyways...to say the least you slip the quarter in and turn it (just like any gumball machine) but this one was AWESOME! It was full of music and gadgets, and gizmos, and twirly things, and ....wow.... it was amazing...I used 3 quarters on this amazing machine made up of lights and twirls, and spinning things, and metal, and electricity, because I found it so freaking awesome. *sigh* simple pleasures for the simple minded.
