Yes, I passed both of my classes down here, and yes I am going to finish up this internship this Friday. So I guess you could say that I made it. I never really imagined making it this far and doing so much while being down here. I met so many people from all over the country and world, learned valuable skills on the job and in the appartment, had a blast, and more!
This past weekend I went on a cruise with Diane, Jen, and Erica. We had one heck of a time. The food and weather were amazing. I saw Chicago on the boat (in the movie theater). We saw the beautiful sunset against the water a couple of the nights. Danced, saw some shows, snorkled twice, shopped, and more. Cruises are so much fun. The two cruises that I have been on have been some of the best times that I have had ever! I would definitely suggest a cruise to anyone who wants a relaxing, amazing vacation.
I got back Sunday morning and called my mom to wish her a Happy Mom's day, and she informed me of some sad news. Bobby Foehlinger was killed in a car accident Friday night near Kansas City. He went to my church and college, and even though I wasn't close to him, I spoke to him quite a lot of times. It's just so sad, because he was such a great person, and he did so much in his life..his family is great. I hope and pray that he is in heaven now, and I pray for his family during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Bob.
I am packing up and only have two more nights left at Beaches. Friday I fly home, so I guess I will see or talk to all my Neb. peeps soon!
