It's so weird right now, becuase I'm still not 100% sure that I am going to New York in 10 days. Mom was supposed to get my ticket and everything set up when she got to CO, but for all I know, she could have totally spaced! Let's hope that she didn't, and that the friends I have been emailing since I got back from Flada are friends I will spend some time with on a Road Trip to the Big Apple soon! They are great kids...don't worry, I'm not going to get corrupted or anything. I choose my friends wisely.
I talked to Kit today. He called from church camp. He's having a grand time. I miss camp lots. Ha, I talked to Pat too. I told him that I was in Cali last month...he seemed really mad that I didn't even call him! I don't now why I didn't. I guess I just wasn't sure how it would go..like us kinda losing connection or what have you. But I talked to one of Kit's friends that he made out there. He's a shrimp I guess. Yeah the kid is going into 9th grade and he is 4'8". That sounds pretty shripmy to me. Heck, when I was going into 9th grade, I was probably at least 5'6" or 5'7".
My cat is actually minding the fact that there are two little scruffy dogs in her house. Mea and Leilani are my "dogcousins" from Cali. They are so super cute. I think we should get a little dog for this house. Jules could use some company. She is such a lonely and lazy cat.
Today I took Adam and David to Applebee's in Bellevue, because it is kids eat free day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. David threw a hissy fit and didn't want any of the food on the menu, so I asked the waitress if they had any personal size pizzas, and it turned out that they did. So David got his pizza and his Hersheys chocolate cake too. MMM..I had some bites when he was stuffed. Gosh, that cake is one of the best cakes I've ever had. But for lunch I had the best little honey bbq boneless chicken wings ever! I could eat those every day and not get sick of em! We swam when we got home, and I still have water stuck in my ears. It's really annoying.
