My dad has an interesting selection of MP3's on his computer. I found some old school 70's songs and started listening to them. One of which was "Hotel California" by the Eagles. Can you believe I actually danced to this song at one time during my dance career at Cherrie Anderson's Dance Studio? Hey TP, gosh I still can't believe that you and Lisa once danced there. I still find it odd that I don't know hardly any dance terminology.
So tonight was family night. The parentals, bro, and I went to the Quest Center for the season opener for the Creighton Bluejays B-Ball. They won. I also got to see my Grandma and Grandpa. It was great...I even saw Joey! He was playing with his new Dell Palm Pilot. I told him that Grant and I looked at some at Circuit City today. I told him that we all should hang out over break. He said he'd call Justin.
Man, I'm so sore. I think playing b-ball at the Rec yesterday and then playing that dancing game at FFC totally wore me out. It's alrigh though, I needed it. I haven't been physically active in a while. I don't think walking day in and day out around campus counts. You kinda hafta do it, unless you want to buy a motorized cart like the one the old lady had in Dumb and Dumber.
Speaking of the word dumb. Dumb ol' me totally pulled off my rear-view mirror today. I wanted to clean it off, so I reached up and pulled both sides to reach up and clean it, but instead it popped right off and smacked me on the top bridge of my nose. Not cool...Grant was laughing at me. Dad wasn't too happy about it. I told him sorry and he goes, "Well, I guess it's back to the junk-yards." Yeah, he totally just fixed my heater the other day. I love my daddy!
But I love my Daddy even more.
I wouldn't mind seeing the beauty God displays when he lays a fresh blanket of white snow tomorrow, but I hope and pray that the roads won't be bad. We are driving back down to Lincoln tomorrow for the Nutcraker Ballet. I'm super excited. I love ballets. Mom and I used to go to ballets and shows a lot at the Orpheum. It's been a while though. But anyways, I think after the show tomorrow I might just get that itchin' Christmas fever thing goin' on. If that's what you wanna call it. Maybe I won't feel it until after Thanksgiving. Who knows? Grant and I did listen to 101.9 (Christmas music 24/7) on the way home from dinner tonight. Gosh, "Bells will be ringing..."
Sleep is good. God is good.
Night.
