Today I mentioned "Rabbit, Rabbit" to Stace, and she forgot all about it. She was going to call Justin this morning to say it to him too. I don't believe in that crazy saying, but I guess it is something fun to do every first of the month. Speaking of months, Grant and I have officially been dating for a month. Wow, I never thought that would happen. I think it's a total God thing, because with everything that has happened within this past year, it's amazing to me that we can have this relationship. I thank God for him all the time. I thank God for a lot of things all the time. Well, not as much as I should, but by His grace, I try. Frankie is gone. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. The tv flashed "NEWS ALERT" "Head Coach Frank Solich has been fired." I guess its pretty big news here on campus. All the Nebraska newspapers are talking about it. I don't think it was that fair. I think our AD was somewhat unethical in dealing with his termination. I feel bad for him and his family. I just hope whoever gets the new coaching job can bring NU football back to what it once was. Good news. I got a 96% on that business report that I turned in a few weeks ago. I'm stoked. But my grade is still a high B. I don't know if I'll be able to pull it up to an A or not. I'm counting on God for that one. Break was nice. I spent a lot of time with mom. She took me shopping, to the movies, and to a CU b-ball game. It was some good mother-daughter time that was much needed. It seems like I'm home all the time, but I'm always busy with friends and church stuff. Not that that's a bad thing at all..I love my friends and of course I love my church, but I also love and honor my mamma. I'm glad Lou preached on the 5th commandment last night. It was somewhat convicting, but it would have been worse if I hadn't talked to my mom the day before about my behavior and actions towards her. She thinks I've gotten a lot better in respecting her and dad and just loving them more. I'm thankful for them so very much, and I'm thankful that God has placed them in my lives. This scarf that I'm wearing is super comfy and cute. I got it at Targhetto. It's kinda black, grey, and cream...looks good with my crazy pleather fuz coat from the Buckle. Ok gotta go get some reading done..then it's off to Geography. Ten bucks says my prof spends at least 5 min talking about Frank's firing! I'll let you know if he does or not on my next entry.
