Hey (scratchy voice)...ah ah (let me clear my throat)
I just got back from the CU vs. NU game. It was awesome. But not in a sense where it was really good, it was just awesome that despite the fact that both teams had their goods and bads, my team, the JAYS WON! It was CRAZY. Kellen Milliner had the ball with 3.4 seconds left in the game and he shot it to put the Jays ahead of NU by 2 pts. So the whole place went CRAZY, well at least us CU fans did. I was shaking...me and gramps hugged...me and mom were jumping up and down. Yeah, that's what you get for being life long Creighton Bluejay fans...me since 5...I've NEVER liked the Husker basketball program...ick...NO WAY JOSE. I am all aboot the Jays. Now they are 8-1!
But on a lighter and more eternal note...I listened to a good message last night by a preacher from Scotland on Justification by Faith alone in Christ alone. It is so clear to me, and so many others, but I still don't see how Catholics...and others! feel that it is how they can perform for God to get them in His good graces. The work that Christ did on the cross is what gives us the righteous to believe and have faith and to live in accordance to His word. Though we fall short every day, it doesn't matter, because He can pick us back up and lead us on. It is the santification process that He uses to make us more like Him day by day. And without it, no one will see the Lord.
Rejoice!
Alright...gotta go study, then off to the RUF Christmas party...hehe, for my white elephant gift I am giving tuna, crackers, and mints! TWONACRACKERS! haha, almost like Two nutcrackers, but not really.
