Ahh...so I walk into my room and the lights are on and no one is home. Stacey left a note on the door saying not to freak. But I kinda did. It's really odd. The room is all bare. It looks nothing like it did a day ago. Wow, this is craziness.
So I studied with Whistler at the onion tonight. He seems like a cool kid. Kinda threw me off guard when he asked if I was into the "church thing" like Justin. Turns out he only goes to church a couple times a year. Just for the two most important Holidays. The two that a lot of people don't seem to understand the true meaning of anyways. The wonderful and glorious reality that the God of the heavens and earth and all that dwell within sent his only begotten Son to later die on a cross at Calvary for those whom He chose before the foundation of the Earth for the adoption as Sons by His grace.
Wow, so that was a run-on sentance, but a good one.
Man, this stinks. Everyone is gone. Campus is clearing out. I still have three tests. I just want break to be here. And I don't want to be in this crazy bare room all by myself. I'm scurrred. (hehe, just kiddin...I've got a friend in Jesus I tell ya!)
I don't want to complain or anything, but Selleck dinner tonight was by far the worst dinner I've had this semester yet. It was almost as if they had nothing left, so they threw together some food and presented it to us as dinner. Ick, I'm hungry.
I miss Grant.
Your mercies are new every morning.
I hope every evening too.
Why of course, God's grace is suffient now and always.

My goodness, you'd think we was livin' in Chi-town or sumptin. It's sooo windy out! I need a study break. I've been studying for the past 2 hours. Grr...my brain is going to explode! OHHHH dang...the guys above are banging some kind of ball on their floor! STOP!!! And the girls around the corner are putting up a loft and are somehow attempting to hammer like hammer dogs. NOISE go away!
Al Roker is coming to Papillion on Friday morning. The big house in Tara Hills won a contest for the best lit/decorated house in the nation I guess. Pretty cool stuff huh? Yeah 40,000 lights and 300+ figurines. That'll do it. I really want to go and stand outside kinda sorta like in a "crowd" type setting. On wowt.com they said that they want people to come and stand outside and be in the background of good ol' Al. I want to make a sign that says "Hey Al, the Today show in July was the best, but soon I have to go to my last semester test!" Ok, so maybe that isn't that great of a saying to put on a poster. But who knows? Maybe I'll pull something out of my creative lil' brain that I lack and make something cool for Friday morning. We shall see.
Mom called tonight. As she always does. She said she is having a hard time Christmas shopping for me. I didn't really specify any gifts that I want. I don't really know what all I want anyways. I told her money. Cuz I'm broke as a joke. She was all.."Ha, yeah to pay your bills."
::shrugs at $300 credit card bill::
I don't know where it all came from anyways. I must have just used the card every time I purchased something. Yeah, that's usually how it works doesn't it?
She also told me of the family from Faith Church that has 7 kids. The husband has been gone for 2 months in Kentucky for guards. I really hope and pray that God gives Karen (the mom) the strength to care and love those kids the best she can by herself for the time being. The kids are so cute...I miss them. Jonathan, Karolyn, Jordan, Thomas, Hannah, Samuel, and ? I forgot the 7th kids name. But yeah, I am gonna be praying for them.
Silent Night is on the radio.
I just realized that it got silent outside and here in the dorms.
Ah this is great.
prayin for ya,
erin
