every sun and moon and star/ all declaring who You are/ we fall silent in amazment/ every word and deed of man/ every sea and grain of sand/ all creation speaks/ and now we sing to proclaim Your majesty/ let the earth rejoice/ singing with one voice/ let the people cry/ holy holy Lord/ every creation sing/ praises to the King/ all creation cry/ holy is the Lord
Wow, these last couple of days have been really special in a spiritual Godly sense. Just when you think you are boggled down with worldly worries and struggles or hard times, you stop and think of the God that saved you. His amazing GRACE and LOVE for a wretched sinner like myself still boggles my mind. When I here this thunder and see this lightening, how can you not be amazed at His power!
Being around believers is an amazing thing. Not only are we brothers and sisters in Christ, but we are spiritually feeding each other, lifting each other up, loving each other...none of this could go on if Christ wasn't in our lives. I think I have been blessed with so many wonderful Christian friends. Guys, you know who you are! : )
Last night I got 3 1/2 hours of sleep! Yikes! I am getting to know Deb and Kelsey more, and Stacey you are right..they are really nice, fun girls to hang out with. We are going to have so much fun this year! God is going to do a lot in our lives!!!
Tomorrow I will be on the computer for most of the day, because I have to type up the journal that was supposed to be turned in forever ago..and I need to figure out what classes I want to take, and what I need to take, so on Tuesday when I go to Lincoln I can talk to an academic advisor and get this show on the road for next semester...bring it on! Yea Academia!! haha jk...
P.S. I hope it doesn't stink being a semester behind. : (
Guys, I'm still technically a FRESHMEN FROSH. sad. super sad.
I just found this on Robin's sitdiary..Robin, this is pretty cool, if you read this..I just want to let you know that I enjoyed reading this quote, and because of that, I want to let others read it too! So true, so very true.
"Let us be very careful not to fall into the trap of the world. The world views things only relative to man and to self. The Word of God views things relative to the Father, Son, and Spirit. Mankind is not the center of all things. No matter how great anyone's name might become, it is still far behind His. Our name comes from His life; the name of our Lord comes from the resurrection--the event unique to Him. The world has a problem; it seeks to honor, uphold, exonerate and generally praise itself. Our place and the place of the entire world system is to praise and exalt God. When people of the Bible caught a glimpse of Him, their lives were changed. Perhaps our lives remain stagnate because we do not spend enough time looking at Him."
