Now this is what I call summer y'all. Today was unbearably hot out, and to make matters worse. I was outside carhoping at Sonic from 5 till midnight (without a break!) Can we say backache..hot..sticky.. gross..tired..ahhh! But all in all I did pretty well for the types of people I had tonight. We were busier then ever. Good thing Chucky came in and helped, because Courtney (prego) couldn't hop anymore. Chucky is tight. He's Christian..and we talk about God stuff once in a while. Like tonight when we were cleaning up..we talked about baptism and predestination v. free will. He doesn't know much about predestination, but he believes in believers baptism. I'm lucky to have some Christian co-workers that's fa sho. Ahhhh I'm still so hot from today. I want it to get colder..not too cold, but a mere 77 or 80 wouldn't be that bad. Tomorrow is 4th of July. I work from 2-8, which will probably carry over a little bit...if we are busy like we were tonight tomorrow night heck..I might have to close! I hope not though..I want to hang with my friends and fam. I had the meanest lady tonight. She even pointed her boney finger at me. She was complaining about how our Sonic never has drink carriers and that she has complained before. I told her that I was not the person to be yelled at, and that I would go get my manager..but then she started her van up (which probably had like 20 drink holder places anyways...) and she said she was never coming back to our Sonic again..gosh, she even threw in some profain words! Lord have mercy on her soul!! But after that crazy lady, I had this cool Mexican dude with a greased back mullet trick me by asking for some tacos! I was all, "huh? excuse me?" and then he was like..Oh I just kidding..tight..then I ran into my old manager RALPH! Crazy guy only gave me a $1 tip! I thought he'd give me more because he knew the ropes of this biz..but ah well, i ain't gonna be a greedy guts. Sweating is gross..I've come to that conclusion. Drinking water is good. I love H20. Thank you Lord for Water! : )
