Happy 20th Birthday to my great friend TP! Happy 1/5 of a century too!
Can you believe I had a Chick-Fil-A sandwich today? Yup, that's right. Kelsi and I went to my dad's work downtown (Mutual of Omaha) and ate some yummy chicken and waffle fries. Over break I want to take the gang down there and we can all eat some good chicken. MMM...tastes like chicken. I was going to get some nuggets for Grant, but they were closed and all out of chicken by the time we were ready to leave. Grr..so I gave him my chocolate chip cookies in a Chick-Fil-A box instead. : )
Who knew you could kick over a glass of water when saying "Happy Birthday" to your friend? Welp, Stacey did it tonight when we went to say Happy Birthday to Terri. Terri's mom showed us Katie's little Barbie laptop and her shoes that light up and sing Nutcraker songs. Aww...for a moment I reminised on those days of plastic toys that held my attention for unknown amounts of time.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for. First and foremost for my Savior, Jesus Christ. All of my family and friends. My church, First Baptist of Papillion. The good ol' U S of A. The little things in life too. So much stuff...wow...we really do have a lot to be thankful for.
I pray that God will continue to extend His loving mercy and grace upon us who can call Him "Abba, Father." And for us as His children to love, obey, and worship Him more, because He has done so much for us who are His.
I'm very tired. Gotta go to bed.
