Behind the Curtain Just behind the red velvet curtain Upon the floor of the wood stage Red and white petals snowing on her There she lies desparately In the arms of the one she loves Clinging to her life for one more moment To express her love, her final answer Uttering her last words Never thinking of herself Every breath uttered Was for him Her fears come true Her world is shaken Her biggest realities Are shown through The fright of others The whole cast stares at her With fear upon their face Something you never imagined A nightmare even you haven't thought She was torn at which direction The moment she knew the truth It was all shattering from under her Oh, so gently and slowly All he wanted was his Fantasy to come true And it did...but with fantasy Comes reality, tragic or not. His fantasy lay dying Slowly slipping from his fingers Not enough tears could save it Not enough love could keep it It can't be, it's not true It's not supposed to happen this way Maybe love, wasn't enough he thought Or maybe...love, was all they had. Maybe, love was the only thing that saved him. What she did for him and What he did for her The things they learned The unselfishness, the charity The thought of doing anything For each other no matter what Were things they would never forget He'll always be in her heart and She'll always be in his It wasn't lust or greed It wasn't fake or acting It was simply an unshaken foundation A powerful and great thing Called love. Freedom. Beauty. Truth. Love.
