This weekend was awesome!

Thursday Evan took his girls to Ihop and let me come too. I love Ihop. I had an omlette with spinach and mushrooms. Then he took them to the dollar store to get their cousin a Bday pressie. Then we stopped by Petsmart and looked at the cats and fish an' stuff. There was some pink kissing fishies. Cute.

Friday we went out to eat with Shana and Danny to a Thai restaurant. We had varying degress of spicy foods and we tried each others. It was an experience. Then we drove up Big Cottonwood past all the ski resorts and took a hike up to Cecret Lake around 9 or 10pm while the sun was going down. There was still snow up there. It wasn't a long hike but it was kinda steep at parts. Still got hot but at least the sun was going down. We sat up at the lake and watched the stars for awhile. We turned on flashlights and hiked down. Shana decided to climb a random boulder near the path and we all ended up climbing it. Evan was chicken he didn't know how to get down. A nice work out with the legs tho, gonna feel that morrow. We got back around 11pm.

Saturday we started off by taking the girls to the Bday party for their cousin Lucas. We ate lunch there, sloppy joes and corn. Gave him pressies and tried to get some of the kids to run through the sprinklers. Then we dropped the girls off and we went to Ogden on the motorcycle for the ifly appointment we made at 4pm. We got Tshirts and a DVD too along with the two one minute actual flying moments. My Tshirt is blue with red skydivers on it and Ifly on the back. Evan got a black with a skydiver on the back and Ifly on the front I think. For the price, including the Tshirts and DVD, it was kinda worth it. Thanks Groupon!

I kinda sucked at it tho. I looked like I was kicking my legs and flapping my arms the first time, but it was just the air moving all my limbs and I was having issues controlling them. He was trying to position my arms and get me to straighten my legs... I think they were straight they juss moving in two diff directions... So he threw me out of the air tunnel, told me to keep my legs straight and threw me back in. I was able to brace myself better once I got out and back in. Slightly embarrassing. Its not that easy controlling all those limbs at the same time with all that air rushing past you. I tried to talk to Evan while we were waiting but we had earplugs, helmets and googles on. Everyone else was talking to each other and I could hear them, but I had a deaf bf. Sigh. I woulda felt better if I could talk about it during the process.

The second time flying was better. I went pritti high on my own. Then the instructor grabbed one of your arms and leg and flew with ya and made ya going in circles as you were going up and down. That was weird cuz you didn't really notice you were going up and down, but you could feel the circles. Kinda fun. I kinda redeemed myself the second time. Not sure I want all that on a DVD tho...

Then after that I figgered we shouldn't drive all the way up to Ogden juss for ifly so I decided I wanted to see the Dinosaur Park. Turns out, its free admission day that day! Bonus! I think Evan is kinda tired of that park, he's been before, but I wanted to go and it definitely doesn't hurt to drag him through it again for free. I was excited for this date we had planned in Ogden, and even better it was basically free! I wanted to take the motorcycle for cheaper gas, and we juss had to pay for food cuz we paid for ifly months ago.

So we went through all the dinosaurs and picked our favorites and I took pictures and we recognized the ones from Jurassic Park and the ones that weren't supposed to be in the Jurassic Park movie/time period. We spent like 1.5-2 hours there. Then we were hungry, stomachs kinda said so, but the heat told our brains that we weren't hungry. But we stopped at Sizzlers and ate. He had an endless salad bar and I had steak and shrimp with a side of mushrooms. *drool* One of the best dates ever!

Then we decided we needed to watch Jurassic Park again. So we went headed to his place to borrow it from his roommate and then headed back to my place to watch it around 11pm. My butt kinda hurt from the ride, but mainly cuz the backpack was weighing me down and stuck me to the backrest the whole way, but on the way back the backpack was lighter cuz we took out some jackets so it wasn't bad. Kinda fun. Fun to daydream on a motorcycle.

Sunday we went to church and took the dog out for a picnic at Liberty park. Felt kinda bad ditching him out playing every night til late. We ate some sandwhiches and chips, we walked around at the booths where they selling stuff, listened to the drummers Evan wanted to come for, watched ppl in paddle boats around the little lake/pond thing, and played frisbee til we got bored. Went home and took a shower. We both fell asleep and woke up late for Gmas dinner. We went and ate, I helped clean up since I juss showed up and expected to be fed, sat around and talked, listened to the laughter...

Then we left to watch Lost the rest of the night. I wanted popcorn, he wanted ice cream, he ate most of my bag of popcorn and some ice cream. I kinda burnt the popcorn. The dog was dead asleep most of the time. He seems to get tired more easily, kinda scary. Evan complained that I can be so nice and then so mean at times. I said I could say the same thing about him too. Bedtime.

A very nice weekend. It seems I have some activity planned for each month for the two of us. August we did ifly, Sept is CA, Oct is Frightmares, Nov I wanna go to Hale Center Theatre, and Dec is the Bahamas Cruise... fun fun fun ahead!
