So Friday night I had a couple of ppl call that wanted to look at my flute that I'm selling on KSL. I kinda told 'em first come first serve so this one lady from Centerville sent her hubby over to my house to buy the flute from me.

I sold my flute. For $250. Its gone. And for some reason I seem to have an emotional attachment to it. I have no idea why. I was last chair almost every year (me and Lindsey took turns) and hence the last chair, I totally sucked at playing it! I am NOT musically inclined. At all. I lugged that thing around to North Cache and back for like two years in the freezing cold and the super hot. And I mean...for a 6th grader being able to get on stage and perform a concert of some kind is an accomplishment, right? That was a nice feeling for me, even though I prolly ruined it for everyone else. I guess spending a lot of time with it made it memorable?

I feel sad and irked at the same time wondering why I have this attachment. I texted Dallin and asked if he felt a lil sad for selling his trumpet. He's like "uh...No. I totally sucked at it and I was last chair almost every year. And I hated carrying that thing around. I'm glad to get rid of it." Sigh. Same situation, two different feelings.

Anyway, that a tragic event for me for some unknown reason. A friday night and I ended up calling my parents whining that I finally let my flute go. How sad. I called the other lady to tell her I sold it and she was like "totally understandable, it was a really good deal. well thas fun for you to be able to sell it. Congradulations" and I tried to hide the quivering whimpers I had. Shut up! Don't tell me I could've gotten SO much more money for that thing. And dont tell me how FUN it was to have someone take it awaaayy. Dad thought it was quite amusing. He thought I'd feel better when I cashed mah check.

Well at least I can feel better knowing that it went to another 6th grader (who has been renting and will finally own now) who might actually make the flute....sound pritti. And I'm sure the instrument will be glad to be played again, eh? It was a good deal. I think my rents paid $700 for it and its been like 10 years and a couple of years use to sell it for $250. I did kind of the average sales pitch for Yamahas on the site, so unless you had a student advantage you could prolly get 300-400 off it. Dallins trumpet got more hits, but mine sold first/faster. mwhaha.

I had asked for cash, but it was a lil' last minute so I said I'd take a check. He came in with piles of proof of who he was and blah blah to somehow verify his trustworthiness on the check. He gave me his business card and mentioned his job was affliated with the 'church' and showed me his license and his work shirt logo and gave me his home phone in case something went wrong. He kept mentioning the church which was slightly awkward cuz..he knew nothing about me, what if I didn't know what 'church' he was talking about? hah. Like somehow being part of a church makes you trustworthy? Mmk. Do I ask for his temple recommend? That'd tell me a lot right?

But now I got money to give to Sarah/Dustin to help with a wedding ring or dress.

And Saturday I was slightly depressed and so bored that I decided to go pants shopping. I hate pants shopping, totally does not help the depressed issue. But I tried like four pairs of pants and found the perfect one! It was stretchy material, it was the right size (14) and it was for petites so I don't step on 'em! Soo excited and so much more comfortable. I own a pair of jeans that fit me now. :D Then I went to find a cute sweater, cuz I love sweaters, and found a very soft and VerY warm one and went to try in to try it on when my phone rang. I was in the dressing stall with my shirt off just finishing with the sweater and putting my other tshirt on so I figgered I could answer it while putting my shirt on.

And HOly CoW, who was on the other end? 401 number? What? TJ from Pahaska WY was on the phone saying Merry Christmas and crap! Man Oh Man. That made me feell so much better. Talking to TJ actually made me smile/happy. Meanwhile while I registering who was calling me and why, the employee had opened the door wide open to let some other ladies in to dress. So I'm on the phone, and I hear the door open and there I was holding my shirt up to my sports bra staring at this group of ladies trying their best to advert their eyes and tell the employee someone is in there. I'm like "exuse me?" It was kinda funny that one lady's reaction to seeing me getting dressed. She kinda rolled her eyes at the incompetence of the employee while subtly closing her eyes at the same time out of respect for me. I was on the phone, talking in the stall, and the employee had just put me in that room, what more clues do you need to know someone is in there? Did she even knock like she did on the other doors? Anyway I dressed and left, still on the phone, and the employee says "I am soo sorry about that". I mean it's not so bad that a bunch of ladies saw me, but the fact the boys dressing rooms are directly across the way from me was a bit much. But, I mean, what do you say to that? "Its okay" ?

Then I spent the rest of the day at Mindys basically, while she went to the military dinner, just watching TV and stuffs with mah dog. I did get a Bubble Tea. :D So I sold mah flute, got rich, and got a cute outfit that fits, got a Bubble tea, got mah dog, got mah shows. I'm good now. Yay accomplishments.

I smell like tuna.

Christmas is almost here!!! Weee excited.

And one of Jims butt ugly clients just kissed my head and hugged me to say Merry Christmas. EW. Ew. Ew. Disinfect head. Disinfect! Get it off! *twitch twitch*

AGH he did it again. *disgusted shiver* That will haunt me for a while, eh.
