Scare of the Night #3 - Wednesday
I was on top of the bed this time. Possessed. My jinxing myself. This wasn't the jumpy role that I usually love to do. I'm not sure why anyone would ...not want a jumpy role. That's the only reason I go, not to act. I come here at night to jump and make ppl scream not act like a dead nurse or possessed girl in bed. But whatev, it was kinda fun. I made it jumpy in my own way. And I guess ppl scare differently, some are more scared about those that follow and say nothing, some are more scared at the jumping out, some are scared by screaming radical manics, I dunno. So I don't really have any of the scares I was simply the distraction so someone else could scare them. So I dont really have any scares of the night.
But it was wickedly awesome when under the bed jumped out like between a couple, they were a few feet apart. He made it to one side of the bed and she was still coming and the monster jumped out between them and that girl went flying backwards into the wall behind her and screamed. Some ppl go to the side or cover/move a certain body part out of the way, but this girl went flying backwards. And she was no where near that wall in the beginning of her travels. Her boy had to come and peel her off the wall. Awesomeness.
Another good one was three girls again attached to each other and they were fixed on me. I had their attention good. It was awesome. I made direct eye contact with them as the girl jumped out and growled making them all scream and try to run out the door having half of them trip over a chair on the way. The girl would jump out and growl, but she wouldn't go back in all the way until they left so she'd keep juming at 'em and growling and people would STILL be scared and jump (kinda weird if you ask me). It was a good tactic I never thought of. Keep going at them. Well thats what happened to these girls, the monster kept jumping at them and they all ended up falling into the chair in the corner and stumbling to get up and out the door. Awesome. I guess it was awesome cuz I got to see it direct eye contact. I noticed they had one girl that just froze in place and the other was running and screaming while the one in the middle just screamed cuz its all she could do. I like a variety.
The rest of the night was more of the screams turning into swear words, or just simply swear words. One lady I'm pritti shure went through the whole mansion saying "shit" in every room. I kinda stare and twitch at them when they enter and when they get down the stair I abruptly move toward them and this lady flys back towards the wall "shit!" and then she gets to the end of the bed and the girl jumps out and out comes a more panicky "shit!" But she did add that that was a good one.
It was mostly the boys whose screams turned into swear words. "Aaaahhhhfuuu....." or the scream with an exclaimation point if you will "aaahhhhhh shit!". Quite entertaining really. Especially coming from the guys. I still like my heart/chest grabbing victim. He was the best.
Like I said I made my role a lil' jumpy when I sat still and twitched until they moved around the bed and I kinda abruptly moved toward them and they plastered themselves to the wall watching me so they didnt see under the bed coming. mwhahaha.
Sometimes I would be silent and twitch. Sometimes I'd jerk my whole body around and grab my head and moan like something was attacking my head and say something like "they're everywhere!" or "theres something in my room!" or "Its going to kill me!" and then I'd let out a dramatic scream when they were right next to the bed. I'm not sure if all their attention is on me the whole time I'm busy wirthing. I think eye contact, twitching or talking to them gets their attention best and longest so under the bed has a chance to scare. I couldn't make up my mind which was working best so I just did what was less...exhausting most of the time.
Most of the time I twitched at first and started to raspingly say theres something in my room but sometimes I wouldn't say it fast enough in my character voice so I'd only get out "theres something..." and then she'd jump out and they'd jump cuz they were listening to me and after they jumped I finished my sentence "right there". hah. Kinda lame. I kinda feel like I'm upstaging under the bed. I keep talking or screaming when she jumps out and so its all like mixed up when it comes to whose screaming or jumping.
My makeup was super sweet have to admit. Totally played into my act. She made me look like I got conked in the head and gave me a huge gash on my forehead and blood running down the side of my face. I tilted my head to show the blood directly in the red light I was under and then I just started twitching my head. Totally awesome. Then when they got on the other side of the bed I could arch my body so I could continue twitching in a ...more comfortable way and turn my head so they could see the blood again and I'd reach out to them.
So the conclusion has lead to me being totally fantasic as the possessed girl says one of the bosses. (Yes I finally acted in front of one of them) She wanted me to be on top of the bed cuz she thought I was too quiet for under. Maybe she was right. She said all her attention was on me so she wasn't paying attention to Under the Bed, didnt scare her, but still a good distraction. (Its hard to scare the bosses they have prizes for those who can scare em) So I'm pritti sure I just doomed myself to being on the bed possessed for the rest of my time haunting. Ugh. I mean its not the worst job cuz I don't have to run around, but I have a feeling my twitching is gonna damage me somehow and not just a headache after the night is over. She said she'd assign me as Possessed again for the next night, which would be okay cept she assigned this super annoying girl from night #1 to be under the bed. It was bad enough having a room next to her I don't think I could ...NOT kill her being in the same room. Meh. Whatever. We'll survive. At least one of us will.
The boss lady thought we were so good together in that room tho we got a prize at the actors meeting that night. mwhaha. "Tonights Room of the Night award goes one of the mansion rooms. I had a great distraction on top and a good scare at my feet. The bedroom tonight was awesome!" *crowd rawrs* Whee. A nice shining moment for us girls. Esp me since I never acted in front of the bosses and they can see my wicked skills now. Nice to be acknowledged esp after only my 3rd day there. I got two candy bars already and only been here 3 days.
I had a dream that I twitched and moved toward a couple and the guy flung backwards into the wall and I didn't even do anything but move position on the bed and the guy was mad that it had scared him so he like muttered "bitch" like really mean and it made me mad. While he was calling me names under his breath he didn't see under the bed coming and she jumped and he had a prolonged girl like scream and in my character voice I started laughing evily. He didn't say much that time he was scared and moved to the doorway and I muttered enough so he could hear me "Who's the bitch now?" Keep in mind, just a dream. I would get kicked out for saying that. I just really wanted to break out of character and give him a piece of my mind.
My other dream was about those folks that stare at you in a more...bored fashion rather than wondering what I'll do next kind of way. Some stare and attempt to move away from you, others stare and ask stupid questions like 'are you okay?" "do you have epilepsy?" and others simply hide behind ppl. So I had a lot of ppl do that, mostly guys that watch the acting and either make fun of it or are slightly facsinated by it. One guy in particular was staring at me in my dream and I knew he was gonna make a smart remark so I simply said in character voice and slight accent "You better shake yer head boy. Yer eyes are stuck!" and then I continued to twitch. He was laughing and not paying attention when the girl jumped at him and made him jump. I've always wanted to say that to someone. I think I will. I should have split personalities on that bed. Laughing, screaming, singing, talking possessed voice, begging, the works.... I figger I'll be stuck in this role most of the time I might as well come up with some good ideas. I should put my blanket over my head "Your mad, I am your daughter"
This is too much fun. Now you see what my social life consists of. I wonder how it will change my social life in the future. O.o Its weird being in public after haunting for so many days in a row. I can't be normal in public anymore. I have to hide and scare someone in the frozen department of the store one day just to get a fix. And now twitching comes so naturally to meee.....
